Norris Lake, TN Slalom Courses

I am visiting Norris Lake, TN June 29-July 7, 2013 this summer and am hoping to find a slalom course to use. I've got spare buoys etc. and will be happy to assist with maintaining the course while I'm using it. Please post or email with any information on where any courses are on the lake. We are staying near Deerfield up Cedar Creek in a rental house. If I can find a course and you want a pull that week let me know. Thanks for the help!

We have a course in Big Creek, but that is a pretty far ride from there. I'm going to be at Flat hollow july 29- july 5th, and could bring my portable if your interested. It doesnt have pre gates, but its better than nothing. I'm sure we could find somewhere out of the way to set it up and get some pulls in! PM me if you are interested.

Looking for course

Any guidance would be appreciated... I hear the one in big creek is not there this year. What about the one by Sequoyah Marina, where is it relative to the marina? Anyone heading up near Flat Hollow with a course Labor Day weekend? Thanks!

I have never seen a course in the Flat Hollow, Powell Valley area but we have always thought a portable one was needed in that area since we have been going there for decades.

The only courses I know off are towards the Big Creek, Sequoyah side of things.

I agree! I have over the last decade stayed mostly at Deerfield and rode from there east past Flat and beyond. It would be great to have a course up that way. With that said, any insight as to where the one is down by Sequoyah would be great. I skied it years ago but haven't been down that way for probably 5 years so killed a few brain cells since then (barefoot crashes of course)

93Prostar190... I see your in Central OH, where abouts? We are about 3 min from the boat ramp at Alum Creek and go out there and at O'SHag and Griggs. Always looking for riders.

We are just off South Old State .... so you must be really close since the Alum Creek Marina ramp is about 3-4 minutes from our house as well.

I usually can be found at O'Shaughnessy Reservoir and last Saturday night we took an evening cruise at Alum ...

Are you going to Buckeye Bash, it would be a shame for you not to ... you are so close .. it is this Saturday, stop by would love to meet you in person.

Look for a White Prostar 214 with Mini-Tower and wave and say hello ... Peace.

From Deerfield, if you come downstream past sequoyah, just past the marina go right, up Big Creek, (left takes you to the dam). Once on Big Creek, course is cove on left, just as the creek makes a 90 degree turn.

The Norris guys can confirm, but we were there in late May or early June and the course in the big creek area was not maintained. Maybe it just wasn't in yet. There were a couple milk jugs floating in that cove.
