At least he was able to go ropeless on his first day surfing. Obviously, my surf wake could be better -- this is with stock balast and the surf tab deployed. Now I get to start every wake surfer's favorite past-time: tweaking their wake...
Since most of my guests ride port I have my sac in the port locker and always fill it up. Here's my buddy riding switch on the port side. Your son is not alone.

before he bought that s&s off my dad, I used to surf it all the time. it's not going to work great for the larger guys, but I could get pretty rad behind it without issue. it definitely was near sinking though!!!

This is from yesterday. Can't wait to get my new board.

Wake looks great! What's the best ballast setup and speed that you've found for your boat? I have a 225VRS and I'm just playing with the surf wake now. I have 750's in each v-drive locker, and two 370 locker sacks. On Saturday we had port 750 full, ski locker full and about 8 people on the boat but wake was not nearly what yours is.

Started the day on my friends x30 and ended on my 45. Great day at the lake, even if the sun never shines here any longer!
