Cleats are -le overrated.

Sorry just an opinion. But I always tie a rope to the pylon so long as the boat has something to ride up/down. PVC poles are about the best on the side of the dock.

Past there it would be nice to have something near the front/rear - but in the rear I just use the rear tow eye or rear lift eyes, and up front the bow eye.

If there's any chance you might sell, I would keep the mounts/tower and offer as package, installed for additional 200.

Opinion agreed MC Maniac... But we will be using this boat in a few different bodies of water and will be better having the cleats... That is why I am going with clean mount pull up style cleats so that they will not be invasive to the side of the boat...
As for the tower I have actually removed it and sold it for a decent profit... It was poorly installed in my opinion and during the removal it became abundantly clear how little strength there was at the install points for the tower... If done professionally and reinforced a tower would be ok... On this boat as is from factory it was downright unsafe... The structure of these boats is in the floor, stringers and transom, not on the deck of the boat. The flex in material seen while removing the hardware for the tower was concerning... Was a good decision in my opinion for my family and for the next owner. (Provided I EVER sell this thing! Lol)
Thanks again for the feedback!! Always up for fresh eyes on any project!!
