Depends on what you are trying to remove but I have had good luck with Goo Gone on mine.

Acetone is the most amazing stuff to use on your plastic housing. Acetone is safe to use on the fiberglass as well since the make up of fiberglass uses acetone in the manufacturing process.

If your trying to polish the bright work then I would use your favorite metal cleaner.

Our white vinyl dock bumpers leave white marks on our black rub rail. When I use the buffer/wax the boat I just hit the rub rails at the same time...works great...mac

Mr Clean Magic Eraser and little dab of Soft Scrub. You can try a terry cloth towel n soft scrub first if it's not to deep

I installed a white rub rail on my Tristar, so everything shows on it. I use the Orange hand cleaner that comes in a tub. The stuff mechanics use to remove grease etc. There are a couple of different brands, but it has a pumis type grit in it that work awesome in removing grime, dock rash, etc. Just wipe it on with a towel, lightly scrub it off, and you're good to go. Plus, it smells "citrusy" fresh when your done....

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
