Yeah it's an industry-wide epidemic. My custom shop is owned by a Dodge dealer and theirs are plastic now too. Some brands are even steelies underneath instead of aluminum. Sad when they start to rust on the exposed edges. The plastic is bonded on with some adhesive expanding foam type stuff so you destroy the plastic taking it off to sandblast and repaint. $650-1000 apiece for replacements.
