Well that splains a lot.... Turns out I'm missing one of the pins and the collar. Are both of these something I can pick up at my dealer or am I about to start on a journey looking for parts or SS round bar to make my own pin with?

Opps, the second question I should have asked is if this isn't a dealer item (and maybe even if it is) does anyone have the diameter of the pin. It may be worth picking up a foot or two of some SS round bar and cut some pins up. I'm sure other will need them later too,

OK now that I've determined that the post is gone (most likely my fault although I think a pressed post should stay pressed if done correctly) I decided to try and track one down. At the suggestion of my dealer I called MasterCraft By Design to see if they could help me out as they make many of the billet parts on our boats. I know we've had mixed results with them on shirts and shipping charges but I have to say that I had a rather excellent experience with them yesterday.

I called using the service 800 number and quickly got a hold of Kevin in the service area. He said he might be able to help me out and requested a picture of what I was looking for. I sent him the picture and he called the plant where they make the parts while I waited on the other line. He then informed me that they would ship one out to me with the plastic sleeve for $13 including shipping. While that sounds like a lot for just that pin and sleeve I'm happy it was that easy to get and will be thrilled to have it for that kind of money. You can bet the replacement will be going in with red locktite this time.
