4 blade prop questions..

So I put a new 13x13 OJ 4-blade on my '79 SNS (351w - 1:1 velvet drive) and the increased acceleration is amazing! I did notice that now the motor will rev up to 5,000 and maybe higher; didn't think it was a good idea to push it...

Is this normal and what would people think I should use as a "redline"?

Thanks!

4800 to 5000 RPM should be max. May need to send the prop down for a little more cup or exchange it for a 13 X 14.

Good to know, thanks. Dealer recommended 13x13, will I get better top speed with increased pitch?
