How secure are these against a guy with a 18 volt cordless grinder with a carbide cut-off wheel?

What about a guy with a jack and a spare tire?

Might just need to have these guys watch over your trailer....

I might have to look into a Brinks cable and lock.

you dont even need that - just a strong drill bit through the key hole... its how you have to get those U locks off of bikes when they lose the keys.

Hadn't thought of the trunk monkey for a while.

Unfortunately, a motivated thief is going to get what he wants, my goal is to make it really inconvenient. I lock the ball hitch and then I also run a cable through the wheels and around the trailer. Wondering whether maybe a boat alarm would work to draw unwanted attention to deter even the motivated thief...

My father always referred to lock systems of any sort as only keeping honest people honest.

When I'd take the MC on the road, I had a long THICK chain and a great padlock... I'd chain the trailer and rear wheel to a wrought iron fence if I was staying at a motel... I'd also have a lock on tongue...

Seems like the best option if I were to keep my boat a totally unsafe area would be some form or low jack or GPS tracking device.

Also, this is quite interesting:

The yellow lock ball clearly doesn't do much.
