The perfect boat trip - Another new interior.

I gotta say thanks Team talk. I would never have known about the great service of Viper without reading these forums every day. Unfortunately I had to tow my boat about two hours to get it to them. But that turned into a blessing, allowing me to do a two day boat trip back with my oldest daughter. I gotta say this was one of the best camping trips I've ever taken, and certainly won't be the last.

It was 120 mile boat trip down the TN river to Chattanooga. 96 225 Maristar made it with a single tank of gas, even had a little left to spare.

Picked up the boat from Viper with brand new interior, fuel pump, and rub rails. Very satisfied customer, great company to work with. Jim dropped us off just above Tellico damn.

We drove about 27 mph the entire way. Had to lock through two dams. Slept in the boat, on a perfect evening on our own little private island.

I took quite a few photos, go pro time lapse looking behind. I'll attach a few here, but for some reason it seems I'm not attaching them like others. I'm forced to upload somewhere else, and then link to them.

Boat looks great and it sounds like a great trip! Love the Viper crew
Being on the water is best, but when I'm not on the water I'm on TT.

Wow, what a great time! I can't believe you made it on one tank of fuel! Did you have an extra 5-gallon with you just in case.

What a great time that must have been. That's called "quality time

By the way, just got to your photo editor and re-size your picture to 640 pixels wide, the height will automatically be proportional. Save the picture as a different title and your good to go.

Looks like you had an amazing trip.....it's really started me thinking about doing something similar. What's the process for passing through the locks? Do you have to pay?

Had 2 extra five gallon tanks, and never used them.

I'm fully knowledgeable on re-sizing images, just don't know how to "attach" them here. I click the image button it my only option is to give a url. So I put them up on google plus and then grab that link.

Locks are free, and some are open almost 24 hours a day. You can call ahead to set it up that they are ready for you if you can. The first lock took over an hour, because it was down low, and needed to be raised while we sat there. 72 foot of drop, that took about 20 minutes once we were in and it was flowing. Second lock was perfect. Called ahead, drove right in, and out in 20 minutes. It was 50+ foot of drop.

Time lapse movie coming soon...
