You can just look at the prop/shaft.

Slots gonna have a 14" with a larger bore.

I have a 94 PS190 non-slot - and its not a slouch... BUT - as I understand it the non-slot 1:1 boat was not tournament approved in these years, only the slot, and on a smallish lake - this could be muy importante.
