Engine noise insulation on X-2
So I went out on a Malibu Wakesetter the other day. And the one thing I did like was that it was quiet in the rear. The engine had been wrapped up and it was quiet enough to converse at normal levels whilst driving at 30mph. My '08 X-2 is loud. Wonderfully loud. Even with the additional muffler option. I personally could live with it but was wondering if anyone had successfully attempted to insulate the engine bay?

Yes the 08's are loud. Sometimes I dig the roar but it gets old. The silentmaster option is too much for me so I am interested in any solutions out there.

I've got the silent master kit. It's not the exhaust noise it's the engine noise from a poorly insulated engine bay.

I did tighten all the exhaust bolts and connections this weekend. It made a noticeable difference.
