New Used Cover

My cover was looking a little worse for wear so i priced a local shop to build me a new one. $845 is what i was quoted. SO. Thinking i was going to have to spend the summer with the same ripping cover i was surfing EBay one day and came across this beauty. It is used but barely looks brand new to me except one small nick in the rubber that is sewn in for the cleat access. for $450 I think its a steal if you ask me... Plus black on black looks awesome.

OEM shipping cover?

I am looking for a boat cover for my 02 xstar and found this OEM shipping cover on ebay...safe to assume this is a temporary cover not meant for extended use? Price seems about right. Any one know what this?

if im not mistaken a shipping cover is like a plastic tarp kinda it covers tower and all. Not bad for winter storage. wouldn't use it long term though as they are a bit loose
