I bought it from a guy in Orlando. I dont recognize the name you mentioned. The boat was in rough shape when I got her, even though the ad stated it was "restored" - ha

I gave the new owner all the info I could muster on the boat. Years ago, 7 probably, I sold it to the family in Orlando. A Dr on Lake Padgett owned and allowed a couple of local guys to bring it back to life...they did a great job.

The colors are not original. It was more of a baby poop brown then it was sanded and repainted to the colors now

Back in the day..the owner would bring it to the REunion at Cypress Gardens just to win OLDEST boat...he usually got it

Thanks for the info Jim. Still a cool boat. It would be tough to beat that boat in the oldest category.

Yep, that's the boat then. I'll have to see if I have some pictures of it back in the day. I should have some of the baby-butt brown and shortly after the restoration. I learned to ski, barefoot, and wakeboard behind that beauty. It's awesome to see someone's still enjoying it.

Nothing like the sound of a 302 with straight pipes on a glassy Saturday morning...

Small world - if you have anything please send it (PM me if you find anything I can give you my address). I was wondering what color it was before, as I knew it had been repainted.
I fixed the fist sized hole in the front, engine has been rebuilt using a 1972 block, rebored 20 over, put back w. Holman Moody parts. Next year the floor comes up (I did replace the carpet this winter, found the floor damage) New seats last year.

I LOVE the sound of her - In the warmer months I go for a morning coffee cruise w. the neighbor on the weekends.
