Should have just listed it on ebay if he wants an auction and posted link here.

This way he saves the eBay fees. Most of the forums I'm on have rules in the classifieds that you must list your price and location in your add to prevent people from doing just what is happening here, you want an auction pay the fees!

Hmm, nice banner. I don't see a problem with the post, it is in the right area or it could have been added to this thread.

Maybe if anything he could of added best offer.

Chill out dudes. Ye who have had made no mistakes in life feel free to cast another stone. He did say "take offers" and he had no idea what it is worth. He could have showed up selling it for $400 and we would on him for asking too much. Lets be happy people provide this great stuff we can bling our garages out with.

Peace!!

It turned into an auction when he said start at $50 and see where it goes. Good luck to the bidders!

To me it defeats the purpose of the classifieds on an enthusiast board, a pretty quick search on eBay can give you a good idea what to ask, and then saving about 12% in auction fees by selling here should soften the price a little. 90% of the forums I'm on have rules to prevent unsanctioned auctions as they can get messy quick and there is no benefit to the buyer.
But since they don't have that rule here he's doing nothing wrong, bid away people! When does the auction end? Did you bid? What's the current high bid?
