Rear transom grab handle x15,x30,x2

Selling this rear transom grab handle with black insert. Its in excellent shape. I updated to the step/grab handle. Asking $75 shipped in the 48 only. Looks like it will fit an 2006 X1 and newer as well.

Is there supposed to be any kind of pieces that go between the hull and grab rail?

Also can you measure the hole patterns for me. Outside hole to 1st inside hole, hole gap to 2nd hole, finished with the outer hole width.

Got a friend looking to change to this style rail. He has an '01 x9

I think the hole patterns are the same. Just want to double check.

I'll email this thread to him, he is not a TTer yet.

Thanks

@Kyle
There is suppose to be the 4 studs that go thru the transom that have fender washers and nylon locker nuts but I canibalized them for my step.

Gere Marie made a boo boo and shipped me the transom step piece with out the hardware and I had to source a stainless bolt because the step needed 5 studs.

I know they boo boo because my neighbor order the step after seeing mine and they sent him the step and the hardware.

That said I would call GM and buy the studs and hardware so that it easy. I can get the stud and stuff but the price will cover the costs.

The hole dia. are 9.5 inches center to center from hole one to hole two, 6.25 from hole two to three, and 9.5 from hole three to hole four.

Transom Step

@ZachDaddy,

What did you upgrade to? The Transom Step:

I've been looking at it for my 2006 X2. Would be nice to replace that handle with a seat/step, but want to make sure it is worth 250 bills?

Yes...the transom step. I have a repaired ACL and didnt want to have to fall down to the swim platform. IMO it is worth every penny. The first time you use it you"ll say "how did I live before without it."

Did you have to do any gel work on your boat to install the new one? IE cover up the old holes? Was the angle the same on your new step/grab handle?

Can't - I had to drill one additional hole for the foot of the step but that was not a difficult task. All of the other top 4 holes align up perfect. I have installed two now, both on an X15.

Its a great upgrade, however I need to find a loving new home for my grab handle!!

Can anyone confirm that it will fit an 05 X2? Seems as though if it will fit an 06 X1 it should as they are are the same hull. If so I'll take it if it's still available.
