Wow, so the guy calls me back last night and says other buyer backed out and will hold for me if i give a deposit. I tell him ill send the deposit via PayPal in the morning and that I needed him to send the info I requested to my banker so they can finish the loan I was approved for. So in the morning my banker as well as I send an email to him. No response from him all day and now I get a reply to my email saying last night after we talked he had another local call and ask to look at it on Saturday and buy it and that if it doesn't sell then he would hold it for 1 week for me. It's whole boat buying ordeal is so frustrating. Dealing with people on boat trader seems just as stupid as dealing with people on Craigslist.

That guy sounds like some piece of work. I bought my boat from a dealer in Florida and didn't have any trouble. Paid a 500 deposit with a credit card that was refundable if upon arrival it wasn't as described or I didn't want it. He emailed me plenty of high quality pics prior to deposit. Drove down 1200 miles (so he knew i was serious) and found one little thing that they missed and he gave 500 off which was fair and I hauled her back home. That trip home was much slower but it was a beautiful sight in my mirror... If it's a great deal probably worth the hassle, if not I would keep looking.
