Welcome to Team Talk. Ditto what Brian M says, your hull should buff out nicely. Check out the "Show us your Shine" thread for great info on bringing out your gelcoat's finish.

No mine is not grey. White interior, white deck and hull. I don't see many grey. But, looking forward to seeing yours refurbished.

Nice. Look forward to progress. That color on the 86 is about the only one I've seen that I like.

Angry update

took steering cable off rudder and steering wheel to see why the wheel wont turn, rudder turns freely and so does wheel, cable is frozen, new cable time.

Hey ski, Haven't gone in this area for almost 20 yrs. now, Life, wife, and kids got in the way! Will hopefully be on some of the waukesha county lakes this summer. My daughter learned to ski last summer behind the in-laws pontoon so looking forward to the MC!

That looks like a Steermaster system. Here's a link for replacement cables. They are pricey, so you may want to replace the whole system with something newer from SKIDIM or elsewhere.
