Anyone going to NY great upstate boat show? There wil be an XStar there.

My dealer very politely asked, if they could bring my XStar to the boat show. They have bent over backwards for me, since day 1. I am happy to help. It will obviously not be for sale, but they thought it might be helpful to show an XStar. That way, anyone who might be interested in ordering one, can see it. There are very few XStars in the northeast, and this is the first, of this generation, that they have ordered. I know how it would be difficult to justify a boat purchase without, at least, seeing it in real life, and I had to drive 300 miles to see one.

With the boats that my dealer typically moves (X35 and X55 because Lake George is so big), they can't realistically stock an XStar. Besides, most would special order if they are buying a boat like that.

I also wanted to mention, that if anyone would wish to demo one in the spring, I would be more than happy to help out, starting in may. (It would have to be at my lake, which is only an hour from the Albany/Saratoga area.)

Nonetheless, I just wanted to try and help them, and anyone who might want to check one out. Only one rule..... No Shoes in the boat!!

They also had me do a color scheme for them this year. I got to spec an X10 that they are going to have in stock. It is coming in tomorrow, with my boat. I am very anxious to see how it came out!! Hopefully it looks good. If it doesn't, they told me that I will be buying 2 boats this year.....

Your a nice guy for letting them use your X-star as the show boat. I would make sure there are "no shoes please" signs all over that baby.....or even better a hot model to stand guard at the base of the steps!

What lake in NY do you frequent? Maybe I'll come visit with my "old" X-star.

I am on Lake Bomoseen, which is about 25 miles east of the Queensbury/Lake George area. Just over the border in Vermont. It is a fun lake to be on. Couple restaurant/bars, nice sandbar, and the people are all friendly.

I've seen it on the maps and was always curious......sounds nice.
