Grant, don't paint it. Find someone that can wet sand and polish that transom.

Willyt, I am the second owner of the boat. they kept it in salt water and replaced the trailer twice! Now that i have the boat it never goes in anything but fresh water.
i dont know why they never bought the correct trailer. it is a 07' X-15 on a 08' trialer which still has major rust issues from the previous owner. i am planning to scrape it all down prime and re paint the trailer to save it for a few more years.

Dave, ya after seeing thoes pictures of the Xstar and others i am just going to have someone wetsand/ buff it back to new. our company deals with a really good body/ paint shop in east windsor so i am going to contact them about it.

I talked to Paul at All Class Detail, they came out did a test spot on the blue and it came out great! we let it sit for two weeks and it did not fade back to white so i had them do the entire boat. they used a agressive cutter, Wax then buffed it all and it came out like new. i am very happy with it.
Spring suit is out and it is time to Ride this weekend!

try these guys for your domed decals...probably won't be cheap... but check around...used to be a place in phoenix... but their website is gone... you may want to google someone local to match color.
