I used a wire brush on a drill to get rid of the surface rust. It took care of it pretty quickly. After that I used jasco prep and prime to make sure it was all gone. Then I primed and painted it with rustoleum spray cans.

Yeah....Looks really nice.
BTW compared to The Correctcraft set up (which I'm used to) how hard is it to replace the impeller on a Mastercraft? I'm in the learning stages on my first MC. I know where it is, just wondering how hard it is to pull the thing. We still have plenty of snow, but it's time to get ready.

Well we pulled mine in the fall with an impeller puller, I installed it with just my hand and no grease or anything. It was pretty easy to install, and it wasn't hard to remove either with the puller.

I hand waxed the boat and then polished the platform brackets to make them bling again.

Then helped rat with his boat.
