2012+ X30 ZFT4 rack swivel Vs. Wetsounds Rev10s
Wondering if installing speakers larger than the stock cans will create problems with board racks swivel function.
This is not my boat, but by looking at the rack angle/height it looks like they're very close and the stock speakers are much smaller I believe. Anyone with Rev 10's or even Rev 8's on this combo have any feedback? |

last summer we did a pair of Rev-10's on a 2012 X15 on the inside locations. The racks only interfered with the speakers if they where stored in the in position with boards in.

I was afraid of that. If it rubs with 8's then I guess I go 10's and lose ability to rotate inward.
I assume it's fine if there is no board in the upper rack? i.e. the rack doesn't come close to the speakers, just the board, right? |

it's fine with no board and even with board they rotate inward. A light pull on the boot of flex of the board allows to rotate pass. Everything is still functional, but a slight rub can happen.
