I had a 2002 X7 with the 310hp RTP engine, it is a very good all around engine I pulled a very good wakeboarder with it and he added additional fatsacs and he said that the wake was very good considering the boat. The boat is capable of a good wake and a good crossover. I traded for a 2003 197 with the 6.0 for more top speed and barefooting.

I would not buy the boat if you are a barefooter. Recreational footer it will be fine.

I had (2) people look at my X-7 this past weekend. I've got (1) guy requesting a test drive once the ice thaws on the lake for us to do so. (maybe today)
