That's an LY6! The cowling on top of the LQ9 has the caddy emblem and is shaped different. LY6 is a sweet package!

watch out for salt use on a boat down there

you'll love the hydraulic steering

need those tower braces installed

that engine and trailer look fishy to me...

This is correct!! That engine is a LY6 not a LQ9. Disappointing a MC dealer wouldn't know the difference. MC discontinued the LQ9 after the 2005 model year.

Ask the dealer if the engine is closed cooling. If they say no then it is a LY6. All LQ9's were closed cooling. Actually if they do say it is closed cooling then the engine would be the Crusader SS 6.0L but that engine in the pic is not blue.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'm going to look at it in person this weekend and figure out if I'm going to do the deal or wait for something different. I like the 07 for the garage set up my digital dash in my x-35 freaks out way to much. I have also talked them into fixing the front of the boat in the deal.

Texas MasterCraft is in the DFW area. Really do not run into many boats used in salt water around here.

Why do you say that? It's just an after market trailer

Thats a LY6
Boat is a consignment
Aftermarket trailer caused the damage to the hull
LY6 is a better motor than the LQ9 imo
Tedd can fix the gel damage as good as new

Snork. Is the trailer that's it is on the one that was causing the damage?

I'd say it was. If the bunks went to the end of the trailer most if not all that damage wouldn't be there IMO
The tiedown points appear to be nasty look'n as well
