kill switch wiring
I know it sounds crazy, but I am going to replace the kill switch that the PO removed. I have looked for a good schematic but none of the ones I can find for a Tristar 190 or similar boat have the kill switch included. So... I understand that there is a purple ignition wire that can but used but the kill switch I bought that is supposed to be for a mastercraft has 4 contacts. Does anybody know what 4 wires would go to the kill switch? Or do I just use two of the contacts?

follow-up on the safety cut off switch. I found 2 purple wires hooked together with a crimp-on connector under the dash. I separated them, put appropriate shielded flat electrical connectors on them, and connected them to the new switch. The switch I bought has 4 contacts - 2 break contact when the switch is pulled and 2 make contact. Not sure why you would want to make contact? Emergency beacon? Anyway, it seems to work as it is supposed to now. Thanks for the wire diagram and help.
