Wetsounds WS-420 mounting advice

I need to mount my WS-420 and I came across this on ebay.

Anyone use this or something similar?

I like that option, it looks good with it all lit up! I had mine mounted here and it looks better than I thought it would. I was worried I'd hit my knee on it but I never have.

How did you secure it underneath? Any pics from the bottom? I have an X45 with similar layout and am wondering about mounting locations.

I mounted my HSE Revolution volume controller in the same spot. There are two aluminum support rails that I mounted a piece of thick plastic (like 1"x1.5" thick starboard) to. I then mounted the HSE to the plastic piece. You wouldn't need that thick of plastic, but I had it left over from installing a second amp on the other side of the boat-it was similar to what the factory used on one end of the amp.

Yepper! Mine's on a carpeted piece of starboard. I'll snap a picture of the mounting area tomorrow...

Here's where I mounted mine. I used the small L brackets that come with the ws420 and mounted them to the fiberglass under the dash.
