5.7 or 6.0 Which is a better choice????

Am getting a 2013 x-25 and not sure I need the 6.0, and if it is worth the extra money. Have the 5.7 in my 2012 and it seems to do fine but just does not have that extra umph!!!! i'd like it to have. Is the 6.0 a noticable difference from the 5.7?

I had the 5.7 in my 2012 and ordered my 2013 X-30 with the 6.0. I'll let you know if a few months, which won't help you at all. I figured a little more power can't hurt right.

I had a 6.0L in my 2012 and ordered it again for my 2013. I also have the Acme 2241 15" prop. The two are a deadly combo, never wanted for power.
To answer your question, go with the. 6.0L. There are several threads that cover the topic here in more detail.

IMO the X25 should at least have a 6.0l

Always better to have More! Always can pull the throttle back but once it is Wide open, it won't go any more

I should follow up by saying when I had the 5.7 in my 2012 X-30 it was always enough power. I was actually quite impressed with that motor and would suggest it to anyone.

i have the 5.7 and no problem with it. It takes longer to plane with 16 people and full ballast but well how many times you need that? With normal load not a single problem.

But as said more is better:-)
