I usually run the 1100lb bow triangle full up front when surfing and the rear sac on the surf side full. The box weight keeps the corner of the platform from dragging and making the wave wash over.

Here is th 1/2 inch poly board that I cut to match the divider. Put holes through it and countersunk the screws with sunken washers on the sac side and locking wing nuts on the other side all stainless steel. The second picture is with hard tank out and 750 sac empty. As on other poster said with a one way valve it will suck the sac dry. The last is with it full. There is the same clearance to the manifold as if it was empty.

The first is me, I'm 6'4" so the wave is 2 1/2 to 3 feet, I ride from 2 to 8ft behind the boat. In the second picture you can see the length

Okay, I got the hard tanks out and the bags put in place. Do I just leave them like that, or do they need to be strapped down with something? Will them move around and pull the hoses out when full?

When they're full, they'll balloon out and there won't be any room left for them to move.

Do you think poly-board is strong enough that you could just replace the dividers with poly-board? I had imagined reinforcement using steel brackets and beams, but if poly-board is strong enough, I'd consider using it.

I have only the polyboard and it maintains the normal distance with the 750 full. I was going to add a divider but but it holds fine.

Here is the engine compartment with the original divider in place, polyboard has been attached to it, 750lb sac full. No extra support other than the polyboard.
