Bottom Paint
Well, I have a buddy that is looking at a boat in Atlanta that seems to be in fairly good shape. However, it appears that the boat has spent some time being stored in the water, bc it apparently has some blisters. I am pretty familiar with this problem and how to fix them, but here is my question. The dealer that is "fixing" the blisters is sanding them down, priming then painting them with trailer paint. He says this is a more expensive option, but I am not at all familiar with this process. I know that trailer paint is more like an epoxy type paint and is more durable, but I am still a little concerned about the process. Anyone heard of this before?
