How on earth can the water be liquid in Montana??? My lake has a puddle about 50 ft across that is liquid, the rest is solid.

Open winter here and Flathead is a big lake usually has open water if you can find a way in. I have not put the plow on the p/u one time this winter - "Montanans for global warming" must have some real influence.

Dedication. Water level is still down for us. Looks like it will not be until mid March before I will feel comfortable putting my boat back in the water, provided they follow the rule.

I heard the frogs croaking in the pond down the street this week so Spring is on the way. It's amazing that they start "making babies" the 2nd or 3rd week in Feb every year no matter what the temperature is. Going to be in the mid 30s with a chance of slight snow this weekend. If I can just make it thru the month of March.
