Adding Tracking Fins to a 2012

Has anyone added tracking fins? Is this possible on an X45? Are the trough bolted or screwed in? I assume these are the correct ones?

Yes they are thru hull.

X45 came without tracking fins????

I bought my 2012 X2 out of the showroom, so pre-built without fins. I wanted to have them install fins which they can not do after the boat is built. They must do some reinforcing to that area so the fins can be installed.

I dont have any on my 2012 X45. I was told they arent needed for the X45 b/c its so big. I find that mine tracks great.

Of the X series, only the X10, X14V and XStar have tracking fins. (Of course, all the ProStars do.)

My 2013 X30 has the tracking fins. IIRC they come "standard" now in 2013. I am not sure about which other models now include fins. The handling of this '13 X30 is remarkably better than my 2007 X30 and 2012 X45.

Of course prostars have them. MasterCraft takes skiing seriously.
When a friend was boat shopping he ran into this. Don't recall which model, but it only came with fins on it if you ordered an upgraded engine. Apparently the thinking was that if you were getting after it seriously enough to need fins you wouldn't be satisfied lyrics with the stock engine.

My 2011 X55 has tracking fins. I understand that most boats ordered from my dealership had them put on. We custom ordered out boat, don't remember that even being an option.
