pic is stock wake '09 x2- extremely mellow.

dont have a pic but i took out the rear hard tanks and plumbed in 750lb bags on each side in rear. and additional 400lb to front with existing hard tank. total 2300lbs. seems like a lot to do but definitely worth it the wake is killer now.

new to forum but am in similar situation.seen your x15 at tx mastercraft it looks nice! last year was my first year to board/own wake boat.i bought a beginner boat a 04 x2 and want something larger and newer.my riding level is i can clear the wake but no tricks.love the 25 but also the flip rear seat of the 30 and 10.options are good i suppose but almost wish they had less boats to make my decision easier!really leaning towards the 25,i like the black/green one they have but wonder if the board wake is too advanced for my beginner skills. anyways good luck with your decision, your boat now is very nice as well!

I have a new X-2. I haven't been behind an 2012 gen X Star, X-15, or new X-30 to compare against, but here's my input. The stock X-2 wake has a decent ramp, but it's pretty small. I added about 2000 lbs extra ballast, and it gets a lot better. It is bigger than my 02 X Star weighted down (although not as steep). The downside of the extra 2000 lbs is at 70 ft, I have to go around 24 mph to keep the wake from curling over. I believe 501s said he could go at slower speeds when weighted with his X-30 and still have a clean wake.

That's been my experience in the 2 as well, very, very hard to keep from curling over at lengths at 70+

With the 30 we can be running 2500lbs of ballast and going 21 and the wake doesn't curl over at 21. Most 23 footers need the extra speed which is fune for advances ridera but mot beginners or when you are learning new tricks. I still cant believe i never got any good pics of the wake fully weighted but it is very good with weight and still drives great too. Only 4 months to go.....

Pro Package includes 7" Touchscreen, ZFT-4, ski pylon, tracking fins, and attitude adjustment plate. Think it's a 10K option.
