I think we got to this point by being complacent, not through apathy. When things were going well, we just let thing do what they do.

I have to say the longer it is that I pay attention, the less faith I have in the elected. It is ALL about the $$$$ for them....and this isn't a recent trend. This is decades of legislating for money interests. The era of the career politician needs to come to an end for anything to change.
