Home design software
Do any of you have any recommendations for free home design software?
We want to add on a screened in porch to the lake house and I have to present a plan to the HA. The porch will run the entire length of the house with a sitting area and fireplace on one side, and an outdoor kitchen/eating area on the other. I contacted an architect through work and he wants $3,000 to draw it. That's just a tad  steep for what I need done.Thanks

How detailed are you looking to get with the design? Rhino offers a trial version of their 3D software but you need to have some experince. Google has sketch up which actually works pretty well.
