I'm also not a fan of glocks, I am sure they are great but I have zero desire to own one.

I have heard great things about S&W's M&P and have been considering one for backpacking (either in .357 or .45).

I just picked this up last month Cii with night sights... have yet to shoot it but I have a serious itch to go hit the range tomorrow.

Thank you - pretty excited about it. It's almost on par with my excitement level when I first picked up the boat. It's fun to think that at roughly $4/magazine running the gun anywhere near as much as I ran the boat last season makes the gun more expensive!

No , you had it correct......at many ammo suppliers the stuff is gone-gone...as in NO backorder is allowed either.

I bought the last box of remington sig 357 from midway last week.

Was at Bass Pro earlier today and was able to find "some" ammo. 9mm and .22lr no luck---38spl had a decent selection. .40 and .45 and .357 almost all brands were in-stock. It's really hit/miss right now on ammo....
