Finally finished my winterization. I had drained the block, but had still intended to use he boat well into November, but never got out after Nov. 1st. It was nice to be in the boat again, even if it was just in the driveway hooked up to the hose.
Also starting to plan my garage. I'm thinking something on the line of 40x50' with a 12' door. Any one with recommendations on insulated metal buildings? |

I'm not sure what type (red iron, web truss, wood) metal building you are planning, but if it is red iron there is a 20ft maximum between trusses. With that, a 40'x60' won't cost much more than a 40'x50' if you have room for it.

Tanked...
Installed the gas tank today (after the new sending unit installed awhile ago)...
Cleaned up the wiring under the stern and covered it with a wire wrap. REMINDER: ROMEX, and HOUSE WIRE DOES NOT BELONG IN A CAR OR BOAT EVEN IF IT IS GOOD FOR 120 AC. AND MORE wire/connections isnt better in all cases... (removed a bunch of sht wiring, connections (no less than 10 with FOUR grounds; boy was it was a mess). cj |

Engineered steel buildings can have a 25' bay. We have one that is 40 x 80 with 20' bays and a 80' x 175 with 25' bays.

That is correct. I misremembered the criteria on my shop. I have 3-40x20s and a 40x25 on mine. My site was a little difficult. Thanks for correcting.

Removed all the seats except for the from wrap arounds, pulled 10k staples out of seats, rewired my amps (what a freaking disaster it was before), built a new sub box, hooked up the new sub, changed to green impellers, put in new fuel sending unit, started scrubbing everywhere the seats were, and then finally sat down in an empty seatless boat saying "why did I do this?".
Does anyone know how to get to the bolts side panels in the bow? I've got all of them out except for the 2 on each side by the speakers. Can't go under to get them and my arms are too big to reach in through the speaker holes. GRRRRRR |

Removed all of the interior seats and panels and sent them to Jim at Viper customs.
Today replaced the Manifolds for the exhaust, installed new risers, new valve covers and gaskets. Installed a new ignition coil. |
