Probably not...but leaving a professional team where most of the players are making more money than you is different than walking out on a bunch of kids that signed up to play for a free education. Water under the bridge. I wouldn't tell my bosses if I was interviewing for another job right now. Not saying Saban was justified, just my 2 cents. Not a perfect coach out there.

I heard that too w/Greeny. Then he's p*ssed and doesn't even tell him thx/bye, just acknowledges Herm. Great coach, even better recruiter, just wish he would be a bit more "amicable" with the press at times. Similar to Belichick. Anyway, he's built his "organization" as he's calling it and he's staying. How he left the Dolphins was cra*. How almost all coaches leave their teams is awful. I know it's all a business but there is still integrity in going about things.

I was just making a point that it is a full time job for players in the NFL, there is no school, nothing, just a paycheck, therefore it is completely a business. Only a small percentage of college players make it to the next level...hence the term student-athletes....it is a business for the coaches and the athletes that can go to the next level, but the majority will not.

I was just stating that (to me) leaving grown men (NFL) that are making millions (with some making more than the coach) is not as bad as leaving a bunch of student-athletes that aren't getting paid other than their education.
