My friend used to have one of those V10 turbo diesel Tauregs, they are bad Mo Fo's! I used to drive it a bit, it was a beast for sure. That clip was red neck for sure...funny

Shocking. A pickup truck with no weight in the back spins the rear tires.
Does the vw have full time AWD? Put both in 4wd. |

What a joke of a comparison.

I noticed that they tried not to show the front wheels so that you couldn't tell it was in 2wd. The videos like this are a farce. It is someone trying to justify the fact that they have a "grocery getter". There is nothing wrong with having a "cross over" style car; my wife drives a Ford Edge. Just don't try to compare it to a full sized 4wd truck.

A fat chick in a lawn chair can fix that.

The Touareg V10 diesel is a beast and I would put money on it out-pulling that type of truck with 4WD. But a complaint about the V10 T reg is that it is not good in the mud since it is SO heavy.
Here it is pulling a 747... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOG90IQEbhI

I would have to disagree. 4wd duramax with an advantage of 897 curb weight lbs, 87 hp and 212 lb ft of torque would win this battle. There is a huge advantage to the toureg in 4wd and 2wd due to traction. This truck in 4wd and the outcome would be different. |
