So, if A&M had not joined the SEC this year, one could argue that they would have been undefeated and BAMA (everything else remaining the same) would have also been undefeated along with ND.

That means that there would have been one undefeated (eligible) team sitting on the sidelines last night. I'd venture a guess that it would have still been the same two teams playing for the NC but it does make one wonder...

thank goodness that didn't happen...4 team playoff in two years will be interesting....especially if you are a fan of the 5th team and left out...!!!!

Seems to me, we could do 8 team play off and have it run all the way through Jan. I wouldn't be mad about more college ball.

Sounds good to me...but mark it down, it could happen that in an 8 team format you could possibly have 3-4 SEC teams which won't sit well.

Hell, we might as well just not play any teams outside of the SEC then because they all suck!!
