most of our boating is done on a river (Murray River) and when the boat comes out, we get a lot of watermarks on the boat and being a dark colour, the boat does look bad dirty...........
so i guess it has been a habit we have gotten into over the years that when we get back home we wash and chamois down before putting it away.......... but will say, we do use our fair share of the meguiars. The latest polish we used the Turtle "coloured" wax which has given it an even deeper finish........

had to have a chuckle to myself over the polishing bit.... I guess we are a little "anal" when it comes to keeping the boat clean and smoking on it is a no go........... anyway the son had a mate on board not too long ago and he wanted to light up so reluctantly, we told him to sit on the nose and dangle his feet in the water and keep the durry away from the upholstery............. which he duly did ................. and slid straight into the water!! yep........... a good polishing job!!

Too funny Not many peeps wax top deck. Not many smokers on our boat, but I have an anal friend. Makes them smoke on the platform. Never a problem

actually, from memory, it was the 303 protectorant on the interior that provided the slip........

we toyed with the platform for a while but had a good friend end up with a burn in the interior of his boat, purely by accident..... smoker flicked the ash as they do but the top flicked off and went unnoticed............. except for the dime hole!! in the middle of the rear padded deck
actually still having visions of the mate sliding of tghe nose and into the water, his hand held high so the smoke would not get wet...... what a pi55er!
