I have the PTM edge, bought it based on the recommendations on this board, it is awesome and worth the money.

I had an extreme and went to the PTM. The mount for the extreme can be used on the PTM, which cuts the price slightly. The PTM has a superior field of view without question.

Check out Walmart, they sell the Extreme Mirror for $59.00. IMO, way cheaper than the PTM, but the PTM has an unobstructed pannoramic view.
