Pics of your transom wired remote
Can anybody post me some pics of your transom wired remote installed? I am about to install mine and hoping to see where everybody else mounted theirs...

There is a spot under the mold line on the port side in the back where the fiberglass is missing and it looks like plastic was molded in a square. I am just wonder should I put mine there or above the mold line where bbymgr has his installed.
Mine are the Clarion remotes so I will be drilling a 2" hole so I just want to do it right.

SB side is the most common I've seen. If you surf, I'd go with the opposite side of the most surfed side for your boat. Pic isn't my X30, but mounted the same. Also think about your boat cover.

I installed it above the mold line where the cover wouldn't be against it.
