I'd take him unless I was the GM at Washington, Indie, or Seattle. Brady is a starter, and I'd be very reluctant to push one of those rookie QBs aside to accommodate him. Especially in Washington, who mortgaged away their near future in the draft to get their current rookie QB (and their backup rookie QB isn't too shabby either).

Now, if I was the GM at Baltimore or Philadelphia or Oakland, or pretty much any other team who needs a QB, I'd probably snatch him up.

Just off the top of my head there are two playing right now that are better than him.

This season at least, 5 guys have a better QB rating than Brady, and 10 guys have better completion percentage than Brady. I think it's safe to say that there are more than 2.

Hmmmmm. Better take a look at team records in that search too. Also, icbw, but all of Brady's int, with the exception of three, were tipped. That's not the QBS fault.

Team records aren't a very good measure of how a QB is playing. That stat relies too much on the rest of the team. A lot of good QBs have played for bad teams.

As far as tips go -- not receiver's muffs -- the QB should take the blame for those if a defensive player is the one who tipped it. A good QB can throw the ball so that a defensive player can't get his hand on it.
