I touched a rock with the skeg on my old I/O once when I let off the gas and the boat settled back down into the water. That was a terrible feeling as the steering wheel and whole boat shook. Result was a small piece of skeg gone and a tiny ding on one blade of the SS prop. I can't imagine what it was like in that BU landing on a rock pile and doing that much damage. Looks like you guys are well on your way to getting it done. Even with a few delays, there really isn't much to rush for.
