There are things I like about both boards. Personally we have Soulcrafts, Walkers AND Inlands that we ride. I like to have a variety. My main board that I will spend the most time on though is probably going to be my new 2013 Soulcraft Fang Tail that I just got yesterday. It's the white/red one in the pics I just posted. I haven't ridden it yet but will this weekend. I'll never have just one board.

alright I really like the smaller inland surfer skim style boards and was looking to pick one up this winter. How does these other boards compare. I really like surface style tricks and my x2 doesnt throw a massive wake so I dont want a big surf board for that reason as well. Also Im about 185 and I was wondering how small I could comfortably go?

I've been playing with Sticky Bumps Wax for the front traction instead of a pad and I have to say I like it a lot better! More grip for sure!
 Skim and surf boards don't really compare too much but if you want to do surface tricks like 360's, 720's, etc you can definitely do that on a surf board as well. If you want more info on a Soulcraft with pricing and specs for your size and boat PM me.

Be careful with that wax when it gets warmer out. It will end up all over your boat... Big mess. I used to get it all over my car when I'd bring surfboards back home to the desert until I got smart and started scraping it off before coming home. It starts getting soft at maybe 85-90F and turns to nearly liquid by 100F. Direct sunlight will start loosening board wax enough to rub off on your vinyl maybe even in the 70-80F range. I'm digging deep in the memory banks on this one so don't hold me to the temps.
