Underwater Lights

I understand the red LED's do not project into the water very well, that is why not too many manufacturers offer them.
I don't know what I'm talking about, just passing it along.

I went with 4 bullet lines blue 600's.
finished install yesterday, don't know how they look in the water yet, but they sure are bright out of the water!

My buddy has 2x of the bullet white ones, they look pretty good in our dirty lake water, too.

I've searched extensively, and keep ending up with dead links...

I am looking for the results to the underwater light test...

for those of you who installed your own underwater lights, where did you wire it in? I wanted to use one of the dash switches for an option that wasn't installed, like the wash down, or shower switch on my 05 x star, but don't know where the wires are terminated on the boat if the option was never installed? Suggestions?

wire has to run up to the dash... there should be a ground bus up there for the ground and it was easiest for me to splice it into the back of the switch itself seeing as it is reasonably easy to get to... if im not mistaken there was only "+" ran to the unused switches also

Make sure they are super bright...our waters are a bit murky here Too_tall....lol
