What do you mean by hatch? I am going to cut 2 openings under the left and right cushion for storage.

The 3 snaps previous snapped into 3 snaps that are screwed into the floor. They were never strong enough however to hold the seat in place while on the freeway it has almost flown away a few times.

Since I needed carpet for the back seat project. I ordered 8.5x22' from Corinthian marine carpet since it was a 10' min order.

Decided to just go ahead and replace all the original stuff. Corinthian had nearly a perfect match.

I found those 6 snaps burined under carpet fuzz. Thanks.
Not that they will work, but a least one question answered. Still a dumb idea.

PS My box is vinyl covered, yours glassed, I wonder why the difference....accoring to the write up here on history of pro-stars, mine should be like yours.

yours must be a 1998 not 1999 and up?

My title is 1999. I think it was a very early 99' because it has more similarities to the 98's I have seen online.

Indeed 1998. I'll try to find the prostar history thread that said what I thought.

"The 1998 model included a black wrap-around windshield frame, unpadded Driver’s armrest, bare fibreglass engine cover, one-colour interior accent, windshield mounted convex mirror, side panel ski storage, two tournament speedometers, ski pylon, transom ski eye, three tracking fins, non-removable swim platform brackets, and did not have a trunk."
