I'm thinking about selling my 1984 MC S/S. This one has been well preserved. All original. I've replaced anything that needed attention and added a few upgrades. She runs perfect.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/9029692...in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/8205117235/ I’m the 3rd owner. The PO had her for 19 years stated he had always parked her inside. He also said the original owner did the same. It definitely shows. Since I’ve owned her she had been in a low roof covered storage facility with a vented cover on it. Where my boat is parked at this facility it never gets any direct sunlight no matter what time of day. Since last June I: Changed oil – The PO stated he always used Synthetic so I went with the same Changed tranny fluid 1/1 ratio New Auto Bilge pump New stern light (identical to original) New fuel filter Rear pop up S/S cleats on the stern. They are small and low profile work really well with this boat New starboard speedo pick up Installed a 12v power point. Just to the left of the driver’s seat. Hardly even notice it’s there I installed 2 additional cup holders in the dash New Alternator New electronic ignition New Plugs, Wires, Coil, New belts New impeller New trailer light connector New horn button All new gauges I replaced the hour meter BUT the new one doesn’t work so I’m going to put the old one back in. Replaced the packing I’m sure I forgot something…. The boat is in incredible condition for its age interior and exterior. (and trailer) The PO replaced the gas tank. He told me it is a bit bigger than the original. PO stated the Carb and battery were new. I’ve had no issues from the Carb or Battery The bad: The original hour meter didn’t work…. It reads I think 63 hours or so. That said I don’t know how many hours are on the boat. So going by what the PO said, the condition of the interior and exterior I’m thinking about 1000. I’m asking $7K. I have more in her than that. [email protected] Last edited by DH9441; 11-23-2012 at 08:07 AM. |

Looks nice, you may want to post more details.....powerslot? hours? price? trailer pics and more pics of the boat would be good.
What lake are you on? Water looks clean.

See updates to my original post with boat details. The boat has been run on Lake Lanier (North Atlanta) for the last 20 years.

Was this up on Craigslist this summer? I tried to contact that person several times to buy it but never able to get in touch. Wish I could have picked it up then, nice boat.
