Center Trim Tab vs Bow Sac

This is something I have been contemplating for a winter project. I have a 2007 X1. It has 2x 700lbs bags in the back, 370lbs bag in the center locker and lots of shot weight in bow locker. Family enjoys all 3 activities, ski, board and surf. So I am thinking about installing a center trim tab as an alternative to bow sac. My though is that I can use the tab halfway to, clean up the ski wake, and all the way down to provide stern lift while boarding or surfing. For those of you with center tabs, have you used the center tab instead of taking on water for front ballast? When the tab is all the way down, how much stern lift does it provide? Does the tab provide enough stern lift to replace the bow sac? Appreciate any input.
