Battery Master Switch
Thought I'd share this on here... ran across it while looking at Jeep parts and it could be pretty useful for people with boats. This will kill the battery electrical and requires a key to turn it back on. Might be useful for those that don't run dual batteries, or those that put their boats on the water at a dock to help deter theft. Unlike the Perko, you have to have a key to regain power to the boat:

I'll be ordering one! I thought they were like $50.. I had a starter solenoid stick on me this year and had to scramble around to unhook the cable to the battery.. This would solve that problem I think..

I had the same problem this summer..boy do those wires get hot...Sounds like a good solution.

For the thieves, replacement keys are only $7. Perko makes a switch that actually uses a real key.

Good point... But if someone wants something bad enough they will get it anyway.. I'm just wanting it for like battery kill purposes
