I drove out to the lake this morning and picked up my boat and put it into storage before Sandy gets here. There are so many trees around my cottage I had visions of them crushing the MC in half right in my driveway. Peace of mind...

i only worry about the rain out here .the rain try's to keep my boat damp and moldy .
i keep mine out in a portable shelter. ouch . just got the antifreeze in it yesterday. out on the coast we dont see the temp drop much below .-1 earthquakes .check them out here ,there are lots going on . but none in Alberta LOL http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquak...uakes_all.html ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Quote:

I finally shrink wrapped the boat on Sunday, winterized it the week before Sandy "hit". Luck no damage around us.

I finally got ours put into the garage for the winter. Had to shovel out about a foot and a half of snow to get it out, but she is warm now.We had to finish off some work inside before I could put it in (My in-laws are nice enough to let us store it inside for the winter). Now its time to start the winter make work projects because I miss it already

New to the site. Northwest Alberta is home. Try to get to Mara lake in the month of August. Lakes around here are not the greatest but they get us out on the water.
